Well… I transplanted my very healthy looking starts into their self watering 5gal bucket planters a few days ago. Below you can see the pictures… the process went really well, the setup appears to be working well too.
The only problem I have is the wind. It’s just beating my new starts plumb to death. I have broken leaves, blown over plants… it’s not pretty. But at this point I have to let them go and let those who will survive do so on their own. building a wind stop or any other protection is just not possible at this time. Hopefully a few of the 10 will survive. if not, I guess it’s back to the drawing board for a 4th year. 🙂
